Our Commitment to Child Safety

To help you create a safer home, every iSeekBlinds roller blind is supplied free of charge with a Child Safety Cleat.

This is part of our commitment to complying with the mandatory child safety standard set out by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC).

• Secure Chains and Cords Out of Reach
  When installing your blinds, always use the child safety cleat provided. Fix the chain securely to the wall so there are no loose loops or cords within a child’s reach .
• Install Properly and Securely
  Child safety devices should always be fixed with screws. Never rely on temporary solutions or adhesives that may fail over time.
• Reduce Access to Cords and Chains
  Move furniture such as cots, beds, sofas and chairs away from windows so children cannot climb up and reach blind chains or cords.
• Consider a Cordless Option
  For added peace of mind, you may wish to upgrade to a motorised blind.  Motorisation removes the need for chains altogether, offering a modern, cordless solution that’s both safe and convenient.
