Frequently Asked Questions

Linked roller blinds connect two blinds on a single window using a clever linking system. This lets you operate wide openings with fewer chains, creating a clean, streamlined look while keeping everything easy to use.

Linked roller blinds are designed for large or wide window openings where a single blind may be impractical. By connecting two blinds together, they provide smooth operation, balanced weight distribution and a consistent appearance across the entire window span.

Large blinds can get heavy and harder to lift. Linked blinds split the weight across multiple blinds, making them smoother to operate and easier to install — all while keeping a seamless, modern finish across your window.

Splitting a wide opening into two linked blinds reduces strain on the mechanism and improves long-term performance. A single roller blind is typically limited to a maximum width of 3000mm, whereas linked roller blinds allow you to span openings of up to 6000mm by connecting two blinds together. This makes linked blinds a practical, reliable and visually seamless solution for wide windows, sliding doors and large glass areas where one oversized blind simply isn’t suitable.

Yes! Every linked system and roller blind is custom-made in our Melbourne warehouse. We’re proud to support Australian manufacturing and deliver quality you can rely on.

Being Australian Made allows us to control quality at every stage of production. It also ensures your linked roller blinds are made to suit Australian homes, conditions and building standards.

You can link two blinds side-by-side across wide windows or sliding doors. Our system is flexible, and we’ll help you design the perfect setup for your space.

The linking system is ideal for large openings where consistent operation and appearance are important. Our team can help you determine the best configuration based on your window size and layout.

Just like our single roller blinds, you can choose blockout, light-filtering or sunscreen fabrics. Mix and match fabrics if needed — the system is built to work with them all.

Fabric choice allows you to tailor light control, privacy and comfort across wide openings. Many customers choose blockout fabrics for bedrooms or media rooms, and sunscreen or light-filter fabrics for living areas and sliding doors.

Yes — linked blinds are DIY-friendly. Our step-by-step videos walk you through the measuring and installation process so you can tackle the job with confidence.

DIY installation is achievable with careful measuring and preparation. Our guides are designed to make the process clear and straightforward, even for customers installing linked blinds for the first time.

They’re ideal. Linked systems work beautifully across wide openings, sliding doors and stacker doors. You get easy operation, a clean finish and smooth movement every time.

Linked roller blinds are a popular choice for sliding and stacker doors where large spans need reliable operation. They provide consistent coverage while maintaining a streamlined, modern look.

You can! Most customers choose back roll for better light control, but front roll also works well, especially if you need to clear handles or frames. Our guides help you choose the best option for your space.

Yes — motorisation pairs perfectly with linked blinds, especially on wider openings. It’s a great way to add convenience and keep everything neat and cordless.

Measuring for linked blinds is straightforward with our easy-to-follow guides. Start by measuring the full width and height of your window opening to the exact millimetre.

Measure the full width at the top of the window and mark the centre point — this is where the intermediate bracket will be positioned. Next, divide the total width into the individual blind widths, working left to right. The combined width of the blinds must equal the full recess width.

You can read our full measuring instructions, and if you’d like extra confidence, book a free video call with Mike, who’ll guide you through it step by step.

Accurate measuring is essential for linked systems to operate correctly and align neatly. Taking the time to follow each step carefully helps ensure smooth movement, correct bracket placement and a professional finish.

Your blinds only need a quick dust or gentle wipe with a damp cloth. All our fabrics are durable and low-maintenance, designed to stay looking great for years.

Regular light cleaning helps preserve fabric appearance and smooth operation. Avoid harsh cleaning products to ensure the fabrics and mechanisms continue to perform well over time.

No problem at all. Each blind operates independently, so we can replace or remake one blind without affecting the rest of your system.

This independent operation makes linked roller blinds a flexible, long-term solution. If one blind is damaged or needs updating, it can be replaced without needing to remake the entire setup.
