Production times vary depending on the product
type.
Blinds are typically ready within 5–7 business
days. Curtains generally take approximately 10–12 business days due to the
additional craftsmanship involved in creating your made-to-measure design.
Plantation shutters are sourced from trusted international suppliers and
typically take around 8–12 weeks depending on your location.
We keep our lead times updated on our website so you can plan your project timeline with confidence.
Once your order has been completed, it will be
dispatched promptly, and you will receive tracking details via email.
While delivery dates and times cannot be precisely
scheduled, the tracking information allows you to monitor your shipment and
stay informed every step of the way until it arrives safely at your nominated
address.
Yes. Because delivery dates and times cannot be
precisely scheduled, we require authority to leave at your nominated delivery
address.
This ensures your custom-made order can be
delivered promptly and without unnecessary delays. Providing authority to leave
helps prevent missed deliveries and ensures your blinds or curtains are safely
delivered as soon as they arrive in your area.
Yes — completely free, with no catches. We want you
to feel 100% confident before placing your order, which is why we offer
unlimited free samples across our blinds, curtains and shutters ranges.
There are no restrictions on how many samples you
can order. All samples are express posted every business day so you receive
them as quickly as possible.
Seeing fabrics and colours in your own home,
against your flooring, paintwork and furnishings, makes choosing the perfect
option much easier and gives you complete confidence before placing your order.
We highly recommend ordering free samples before
placing your order.
Colours and textures can appear different on
screens, and lighting conditions vary from home to home. Viewing samples in
your own space allows you to compare tones, textures and light performance
throughout the day.
Because samples are unlimited and express posted
daily, it’s the best way to ensure you’re completely confident in your final
selection.
All sample orders are express posted every business
day to ensure fast delivery.
Delivery times may vary slightly depending on your
location, but most customers receive their samples promptly. Our goal is to
help you move forward with confidence and avoid unnecessary delays in your
project planning.
SS (Sunscreen) fabrics are ideal for daytime use.
They help reduce glare and heat while still allowing natural light in and
maintaining outward visibility.
LF (Light Filter) fabrics gently diffuse light and
offer a higher level of privacy. They allow light to pass through but cannot be
seen through, making them perfect for spaces where privacy is a priority.
Many customers choose SS for living areas and
street-facing windows where glare reduction and maintaining the view is
important, while LF is often chosen for bedrooms and bathrooms where privacy is
more important.
Choosing between sunscreen and light-filter fabrics
depends on how you use each room throughout the day and the balance of light,
privacy and comfort you want to achieve.
For maximum light block-out, blockout curtains installed ceiling-to-floor provide the best overall coverage by minimising light gaps around the window.
For blinds, blockout roller blinds fitted correctly offer excellent blackout performance. Installing them as an outside mount, running from one edge of the architrave to the other, gives better coverage and improved light control.
For the ultimate solution, many customers combine blockout roller blinds with curtains to achieve superior darkness, insulation and privacy.
Blackout performance depends on both the product selected and how it is installed. Combining window furnishings allows you to minimise light gaps while improving insulation and privacy for the best overall result.
Yes. Most of our blinds and curtains can be
upgraded to motorised operation.
Motorisation offers added convenience, enhanced
child safety and a sleek, modern finish. Whether you prefer smart home
integration or simple remote-control operation, we offer motor options to suit
your lifestyle and home setup.
The main difference comes down to how you control
your blinds.
RollerIQ motors use Matter over Thread technology,
making them ideal for smart homes. They connect directly to platforms like
Apple HomeKit, Google Home and Alexa, allowing you to control your blinds via a
smartphone app, voice commands, schedules and automations — all without the
need for a hub.
Automate motors are controlled using a remote. They’re a reliable, easy-to-use option if you prefer simple push-button
control without smart home integration.
Both options offer smooth, quiet motorisation.
RollerIQ is ideal for connected homes and automation enthusiasts, while
Automate motors suit customers looking for simplicity and ease of use without
smart home features.
The frame type you need depends on how your window
is constructed and how much space is available around it.
Different frame options are designed to suit
specific mounting situations, helping achieve the best possible fit, finish and
smooth operation.
Choosing the correct frame type is essential for
long-term performance. Factors such as window depth, obstructions and mounting
surfaces all play a role, which is why our step-by-step measuring guides are so
important.
If you’re unsure at any stage, our team is always
happy to help you choose the right frame type before you place your order.
A 3-sided frame is used when there’s an obstruction
at the bottom of the window, such as a window winder, handle or latch.
It includes framing on the left, right and top
only, allowing the plantation shutter to fit neatly without a bottom frame.
This frame option is designed to work around fixed window hardware without compromising fit, appearance or operation. It’s commonly used in situations where a standard four-sided frame isn’t suitable due to functional obstructions at the base of the window.
Installation screws are not included, as
every window and wall type is different.
To ensure the best and safest fit, we recommend
choosing fixings that suit your specific installation surface. You can purchase
the correct screws directly from our website, and we provide clear instructions
and step-by-step videos to guide you through the process.
Selecting the correct fixings helps ensure a secure and long-lasting installation and gives you confidence throughout your DIY project.
If your roller blind is drifting slightly to one side when rolling up, don’t worry — this is a common and easy DIY fix.
You’ll just need a small piece of masking tape and a couple of minutes.
Step 1:
Unroll your blind all the way down until you can see the bare aluminium tube at the top.
Step 2:
Cut a strip of masking tape approximately 5cm long. Place the tape directly onto the aluminium tube on the side you want the fabric to move towards. For example, if the blind is tracking to the left, place the tape on the left-hand side of the tube.
Step 3:
Roll the blind back up and check how it tracks. If it’s still slightly off, add another layer of masking tape in the same spot to build up a little more thickness. Continue adding thin layers until the blind rolls up straight and evenly.
This simple adjustment works by slightly increasing the tube diameter on one side, guiding the fabric back into alignment.
If you’ve tried this and it’s still not quite right, reach out to our team — we’re here to help you get it sorted quickly and confidently.
If your blind is making a squeaking noise while
being raised or lowered, this is most commonly caused by the brackets being
installed either too tight or too loose.
The blind should sit comfortably within the
brackets without being forced into position. As a general rule, you should not
need to use excessive pressure when installing the blind into the brackets. If
too much force is required, the brackets may be positioned too close together,
which can create friction and cause noise during operation.
On the other hand, if the gap between the end of
the blind and the idle bracket is greater than 5mm, the blind may not be
sitting securely enough, which can also affect smooth movement.
We recommend checking the bracket spacing and
adjusting slightly so the blind sits neatly and comfortably in place. Once
aligned correctly, the blind should operate smoothly and quietly.
If you’ve made adjustments and the noise continues, please reach out to our team and we’ll be happy to assist further.
It’s completely normal for curtains to have some
creasing when they first arrive, especially after being carefully folded and
packaged for delivery. There’s nothing to worry about.
Once your curtains are installed, allow them time
to hang and settle naturally. In most cases, the creases will relax and fall
out on their own, particularly in warmer weather.
We do not recommend ironing or steaming your
curtains, as excessive heat can damage the fabric or coating. Simply allow them
to hang freely and relax — they will smooth out beautifully over time.
If your curtains have lost their S-Fold shape, it’s
an easy refresh.
Start by drawing the curtains fully open. Then use
your hands to gently guide the fabric from top to bottom, encouraging it back
into the soft S-shaped waves created by the curtain heading.
Once reshaped, leave the curtains stacked open for
a couple of days so the fabric can relax and naturally fall back into place.
With a little time, your curtains will return to
their smooth, consistent and elegant finish.
We’re here to support you every step of the way.

shutter type, so you can find guidance that’s specific to what you’re ordering.
