Can my existing roller blinds be motorised?

Step 1

Check the compatibility of your existing blinds

Before you order our Type B program, have you checked to confirm that your existing tubes aren’t compatible with any of our existing motors? We have a wide selection of motors to choose from for a range of tubes. In this video Mike takes you through the process of removing your blind and checking the bracket and tube. If you are certain that your tubes aren’t compatible, then you can go ahead and order your replacement tubes along with our exclusive Retrofit Precision Kit (RFK) that is required to be able to re-fit the new tube to your existing fabric.

Step 2

Order the parts you need

Once you have confirmed that you will need to purchase new tubes along with new motors, you'll need to order the right parts. This type of motor supplied will depend on the original width of your roller blind. To check the width simply measure from one end of your existing bracket to the other end. When you order your replacement tube enter the width of your blind and our shopping cart will do the rest. You also have the choice or either black or white motor and accessories to match your décor.

Each tube kit comes with:
  • Compatible crown and drive
  • Motor cover cap
  • Pin ends
  • Single brackets
  • Bracket cover cap
  • Compatible motor
  • Pre-cut tube length
To cut your new tube you will need:
  • Mitre Box
  • Hack-Saw

If you do not have these items, you can order them from iSeekBlinds when you order your replacement tube and motor.

To operate your blinds, you will need:
  • 15 Channel Remote Control – this can control single or multiple blinds in different zones
  • Wall Charger (includes micro-USB cable) - to charge your motors

Step 3
