I have always wanted floor to ceiling sheers, so when we spent 2 years building our first home ourselves I couldn't call it finished without them! We absolutely love our 4 metres of sheers. They are beautiful in the day with the sun streaming through, but I adore them in the evening when we get to pull them across and turn on our 'evening lighting' which casts shadows across them. Our goal description for the house was 'calm' and the curtains just make the living room and kitchen space homey and warm (without having to give up a modern of sophisticated feel). The DIY experience was great - hanging the other set set in the bedroom was one of the 'building' jobs that I could do myself which means the world to me (as I'm not usually great on the tools!)
