Our shutters are priced per square metre, with a minimum charge of ½ m² per shutter. This reflects the manufacturer’s base cost, even for smaller shutters. We keep everything clear and upfront, so you can plan your DIY project with total confidence.

Plantation shutters are a premium, made-to-order product, designed for long-term performance and timeless style.

Manufacturing time

Our custom-made Plantation Shutters are available for delivery to most Australian states, with the exception of WA and NT.

As each order is made to measure, manufacturing and delivery timeframes for most metro suburbs are typically 10 weeks*.
For SA, TAS, regional and remote areas, please allow a minimum of 12 weeks*.

Regional & remote areas are defined as suburbs, towns, or cities outside Greater Melbourne, Greater Sydney, and Greater Brisbane metropolitan areas.

Delivery & charges
Plantation shutter freight is calculated separately due to size and handling requirements. Delivery is charged at $30 per square metre, per order, with a minimum charge of $60. This is automatically calculated at checkout.

Mike’s Tips
  • Use a steel tape measure or a laser measure and keep it straight and tight for every measurement.
  • Always measure to the closest millimetre (mm). Precision really matters with shutters.
  • Measure from left to right and keep the tape or laser level.
  • Measure every window individually, even if they appear the same — small variations are very common.
  • Start at your front door, turn left, and work clockwise through your home, clearly labelling each shutter by room and window.
  • The measurements you provide should be the outside edges of the opening where the shutters will be installed.
  • Don’t make any deductions — we’ll handle all allowances based on your chosen shutter configuration.

To ensure the safest and most secure fit, we recommend choosing fixings that suit your specific surface, such as timber, brick, concrete, or plaster. For convenience, the correct screws can be added to your order when purchasing your shutters, and our guides will help you choose the right option.

 Take your time levelling the frame before fixing it in place. A perfectly level frame makes the rest of the installation smoother and ensures your shutters operate beautifully.

Warranty at a glance

PVC plantation shutters are covered by a 20-Year Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, in line with Australian Consumer Law.

What’s covered

Important Notes

  • White PVC only is suitable for windows with direct sunlight
  • Wider panels may drop slightly when opened — this is normal
  • Dark or coloured PVC shutters in direct sun are not covered for heat-related damage
